Rennaisance Festival

My family has a tradition of going to the Texas Rennaisance Festival each fall and dragging with us any willing friends or family. It really is a lot of fun and some of my earliest memories as a kid are of begging my Dad for another pretzel. It's fun with jousting, FOOD, lots of cool shops and some tasteful and less than tasteful costumes! For the record everyone in our party was tastefully dressed. Some of my cousins and an Uncle met us up there, my brother brought his girlfriend (try to do a sing-song voice when you say girlfriend)and my brother Peter came in from Tech with a friend too.

The boys were fabulous pirates and as usual I'm not in the picture but I was cute too.:) Micah's favorite part was the mud pit and seeing the camels and elephants. My Dad dresses up as a wizard (he's a chemist in this time period) and you would have thought we were walking around with Lindsay Lohan the number of people who wanted to take his picture. I think it is the authentic white beard. So it was a great weekend and we were so excited when we left the boys with Grandma and Grandpa so we could drive out to a GREAT church in Spring Woodlands to visit friends there. All in all a great time had by all (oh except the Cowboys lost for the first time, and on Stephen's birthday no less)
