Look who's turning 1!!

Although his birthday isn't until Wednesday, we had family and friends over for a backyard birthday celebration for Caleb. The kiddos had a blast chasing bubbles and splashing in the little pool.

I have never seen a baby demolish a birthday cake with as much efficiency. Even Micah was impressed. By the end of the party his little cake was completely leveled and he was as blue as a smurf! We didn't get any front shots to do it justice but you still get the idea.

Caleb got lots of fun toys and even stole a few kisses from a certain young lady. The biggest blessing of all was the joy of sharing this time with family and friends. Praise God that he gives us encouragement through relationships!! So, Happy 1st Birthday Caleb!!

LTC

Here are dome pics of our group at LTC!! LTC (Leadership training for Christ) takes the whole spring to prepare for and the kids do everything from puppets to drama, Bible reading to Bible quiz, and they do it VERY WELL. see post below for more recent info on the group....

Youth Group

I can't say enough about how awesome the youth group is at our church. They are a lot of fun and are really seeking to be disciples of Jesus. We have had a lot going on this April and I wanted to share some pics of these courageous teens! Keep in mind I'm still positive even though every muscle in my body is sore after our 5 hour ropes course session yesterday. I cna tell I have aged since my days as a Camp of the Hills counselor!! We did leadership games, capture the flag/laser tag (can I say my team ROCKED), ropes, and inflatables as well. It was awesome.

Early Easter fun

Since we are having so much fun with Easter this year I thought I'd give you a few early Easter pics to enjoy. We had Micah's Preschool egg hunt Tuesday and the youth group had an egghunt on Wednesday night that Micah, Caleb, and a few other siblings got to join in. The teens competed for prizes, someone went home with a jelly bean layig egg. Let's see only two more egg hunts to go, PBT and then the family. We are blessed to have my mom coming to stay with us this weekend so Stephen and I can take advantage of LTC weekend and spend LOTS of time at the Hyatt with our church group. I am a puppet judge, a weighty responsibility to be sure but I know I can handle the pressure!!! Blessings as we enter this resurrection celebration! (notice the little blonde who is thiefing Caleb's egg while his back is turned, I know her mother reads this blog so I caught the crime on film :) )
